The IPL 2019 auction is only a few days away and the groups are finding new strategies for the upcoming time and plotting their purchases also. The voucher is set to take place in Jaipur on December 18.
Just a few weeks before, the teams announced the listing of gamers to be kept and released for the 2019 variant of this championship. While lots of the usual suspects were kept, there were a few big names who were released by some of the franchises.
The Kings XI Punjab, who completed in the base of the table last time around, released equally Yuvraj Singh and Aaron Finch in the group. Finch then chose not to take part in the tournament due to the busy schedule in 2019, including the ICC World Cup. His Australian counterpart, Glenn Maxwell, too determined to do the exact same once he was introduced with the Delhi Daredevils.
With just a few days left to the auction today, the IPL Governing Council released the list of players available for the upcoming auction. A total of 346 cricketers, for example 227 Indians are termed.
Along with this, the Council also released the wages of the players retained by each of the groups.
Amongst the Indians, Jaydev Unadkat, who was introduced by the Rajasthan Royals, will enter the auction at a base of this Rs. 1.5 crore.
