The BCCI have declared a full strength squad for the 3 ODI matches against Australia, and the 5 ODIs and 3 T20Is from New Zealand.
From the One Day International group, Kedar Jadhav makes a return after an injury. Hardik Pandya, who injured himself throughout the Asia Cup this year held at the UAE makes a comeback to the ODI squad. The 3 match ODI series against Australia finish on 18th January and will start on January.
Dinesh Karthik has been called the copy wicketkeeper to get MS Dhoni. Rishabh Pant has been dropped from the ODI squad because of poor performances. The team will be directed by Virat Kohli, followed by Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Dinesh Karthik, MS Dhoni, Kedar Jadhav in the batting department.
Ravindra Jadeja and hardik Pandya will perform the duty. The fast bowling section comprises of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Khaleel Ahmed, along with Mohammed Shami. The twist section includes of Kuldeep Yadav along with Yuzvendra Chahal.
The five match ODI series against New Zealand will start on 23rd January and will finish on 3rd February.
Adhering to the 5 match ODI series against New Zealand, India will take on New Zealand at a three match T20I series beginning on the 6th of February.
MS Dhoni, who had been dropped by the T20I series against West Indies and Australia, which makes a return to the T20I squad. Inside this group, Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant have been called the backups for Dhoni.
